Also erstmal, ja ich weiß das Beryl für mich zu viele Ressourcen verbraucht, ABER, ich möchts mir nur mal anschauen.

Jedenfalls, Bekomme ich folgende Meldungen wenn ich berylstarte, der Manager und die Settings gehen
nur beryl selber nicht.

Ich glaub nicht, dass das mit einer Vmware Graka geht.
Die muss schon wirklich über die Treiber von Nvidia, Ati oder Intel angesprochen werden.

für Composite must du folgendes in die xorg.conf eintragen:

Zum angucken ist Sabayon doch ganz nett, DSL und "etwas" Geduld beim Systemstart vorrausgesetzt ;)

jo, wäre ne Idee, aber möchte trotzdem Gentoo, einfach so.

Jetz kommt keine Fehlermeldung mehr, aber der würgt ständig den X ab.

Die Antwort wurde schon gegeben, in einer VM kannst Du 3D-Effekte knicken.
