It seems that my system cannot initialize properly. I get this error message during init.

I also can't emerge due to segfaults. It reports internal compiler error as an error message.
I think the first problem is the reason of the second one. How would I be able to solve it? I have no clue. |

Are the segfaults always in the same places? When you say you can't emerge, are you trying from a boot CD or from this install?
Try out booting from a fresh CD and see if things crash. If they do, you've got unhappy hardware. If not, something's very wrong with your install. What was the last thing you did when this started? _________________ ^]:wq |

Afaik I did emerge vim links. It segfaulted at qt. The others compiled successfully. Then I reboot my PC.
But now it is working fine again. No more segfaults during boot. But I still have segfaults when compiling qt. I tried to emerge ntp and it worked fine. |
