Hello there, i have ran into some really annoying font issues on firefox.
It seems like the source version of firefox renders all fonts smaller compared to the binary version.
Have a look below I have uploaded two screenshots showing the font difference between firefox-bin and the source version.
Firefox-bin: http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/7812/firefoxbinad8.png
Firefox Source: http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/6954/firefoxsourceqk5.png
Note that both versions of Firefox are the same and they both do use the same profile.
I asked this question also on IRC and someone told me to try compile firefox without the gnome useflag.
I tried to do so, but the result where the same.
My question is how can i get my fonts to be displayed like they are on the binary version of firefox? |

are you using kde environment? Do you have gnome installed?
If you have gnome installed run gnome-settings-daemon when you start kde.
/usr/libexec/gnome-settings-daemon
This should fix your font issue with firefox. |
