|

Just a quick question. I've signed up with a Vserver hosting provider. They support gentoo and I already have a gentoo environment which I can work with.
I've never used a Vserver before. Do I proceed with the gentoo installation as usual, or is there anything I should be aware of?
For example, do I need to install a Kernel? Are there any specific USE flags I need to be aware of.
Just for clarification, Im not trying to setup a Host Virtual Server. I just subscribed to a Server provider which grants me root access to a Vserver that I can do with as I please. |

It will have a kernel and you'll never need to build one. You probably need to install system tools and go from there - syslog, logrotate, logwatch etc.
I don't have any special use flags on mine. |
