I'm running kde on my averatec 3200 laptop
the klaptop indicates that the battery is full, when I
unplugged after 5 minutes the laptop shutdown
if this help this is my dmesg

check klaptop confiuration if it is set to go off in 5 minutes in battery mode.
if every thing checks ok may be time to change battery .
