Beryl Vidcap disappeared?

With the xeffects team cutting out beryl from the overlay, I'm newly in the fold of the beryl standard portage users, so I guess this post would go here and not there. Anyway, I saw in another topic that beryl vidcap was removed around 0.2.0, but got readded shortly thereafter. However, as of this moment x11-plugins/beryl-plugins does not accept vidcap as a USE flag, and there is no package beryl-plugins-vidcap. Was it removed again for 0.2.1? Is there any way it could return to portage, even exactly as it was?

Really don't know exactly who to talk to or where to ask so hopefully here is okay.

Beryl is going to merge with Compiz. Dont expect too much fresh code / plug-ins / developpement nor from the Xeffects team.
I suggest you dont upgrade your Beryl installation until the new Compiz - Beryl stuff is out, and probably less bugged than Beryl was.
