trying to figure out what to use. i dont wanna use gaim on my fresh install cuz it relies on a ton of libs.
plus, i want something that can connect more than one medium. for windows i used trillian (http://www.trillian.cc) but i dunno anything like that for linux....
and then there's command line mode! i saw a screenshot of an IM client that was in CLI mode and supposedly was connected to msn, aim, and icq. i THINK it was called cicq. not sure.
any suggestions?
ryan
p.s. im looking for a client that's lightweight. i don't want anything that relies on gnome libs or kde libs as i wont be running either. _________________ I used gentoo BEFORE it was cool. |

This has been discussed extensively in the archives. I believe there's an active thread over in Desktop right now. Locking this thread.
