and im a student, i bought the dual rig originally for the fact of finding out what is the big deal of having a dual rig and all i cany it was worth it
also i had 2 * amd mp 1800+ which i upgraded to 2800, i might sell the dual mp ( i bought them as a set proabaly will sell as a set. _________________ Snake

Snake007uk: what's your line of work that requires a quad box? i too have dual MPs (2600+s - slightly slower than yours) and i can't figure out what to do with all the power most of the time |

Me neither. Two cpus is pretty freakin fast.
I think it would be useful for something like a heavily hit database or webserver, but not really for the desktop. Unless maybe digital movie editing or something? _________________ ||| |
