- Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 2.40GHz
- 1024 MB RAM / 1007 MB in Cedega Autodetect

When I'm running HL2/Counter-Strike i've got 10-14 FPS !!!!
Resolution in game and in KDE 1024x768.
Video Option in game are all set to LOW.
I'm not using XGL or aXGL.

What should I do ???

I think the problem is that game is runnig with DirectX.
Howto run it with OPENGL ??
I was trying to put "-gl" in the shortcut but it didnt work.

glxgears won't show us anything useful in this issue...

direct rendering: No
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa GLX Indirect


on my machine direct rendering is off... which is bad. we want direct rendering. does your machine have it on?

You could try wine, but I doubt that you get anymore than 10-20 fps out of that machine in HL2/CSS. The source engine only support directx

Yes

What is sad i finaly realize that there is no way to run this game with opengl :( .

Windoz stil winning with the game support. Its sad that Valve don't care about us :/

At least thay should give us opengl support.

cedega and wine both do support directx, however cedega's support is better... of course a opengl client would be better, but you can't win em all. :wink:
