I am to the part of emerging the kernel sources after atarting from stage 1
I have done this many times befor but never have I had this problem....
I dl the sources and the patches and this is what I get...

After typing
# emerge sys-kernel/gentoo-sources
it downloads and well then this is what I get

Try updating your Portage tree using,
and see if that fixes the problem. |

That didn't help ....??
I have never had this problem it seems that it is looking for the file in the worng place...
/usr/portage/distfiles//linux.....
there is an extra / in there

| I found the problem the kernel sources on the orangestate mirror are corrupted..... |
