|

Hi there!
This is my first post on installing gentoo 1.2.
I'm way too excited for my own good about gentoo. Especially since I seem to be having a few problems.
When booting up the system (I've recompiled my kernel a dozen times to try and get this right), I get a kernel panic when it unsuccessfully tries to mount tmpfs. It says bad fs type or too many mount points blah blah blah. I've tried uncommenting and commenting out the tmpfs line in /etc/fstab.
By the way, I'm using the cd with the stage2 and stage 3 tarballs on it.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Again, I'm really looking forward to this. I use debian, otherwise, but want something a bit zippier in the bippy.
Take care!

Oof... I've been meaning to post this since yesterday... didn't see someone else already posted the question. Sorry.
How will we find out if this bug gets fixed?
Thanks, again, gang.
