I have got gentoo running for the first time.
Next step is to try to opimalisate my build.
When I want to make another builds, with other settings. I have some (noob?) questions:
- Do I have to make another build with the livecd?
- Can I have several builds on my computer to compare?
- Is documentation aviable? _________________ Computers = patience needed
Computers + gentoo = double patience needed

There is lots of documentation in /usr/src/linux/Documentation but the kernel has context sensitive help which is summarised here
Its best if your kernels have different versions so the modules are kept in different /lib/modules/<kernel-name>/ folders.
That happens automatically if you get a kernel update. _________________ Regards,
