|
|
I have a few machines on my home network sharing an internet connection with a down speed limit of 200 kbps,
and what I want to do in a nutshell is limit incoming traffic from outside the lan on a particular machine to 150 kbps.
I'm fairly certain tc from iproute2 is what I need to do this, but I'm really looking for a "one-liner" or a quick fix,
but most of the online docs and howtos I've taken a look at are specific to servers and routers, not end hosts.
Could anyone tell me who to do this?
Thanks. _________________ "You have to invite me in" |

Sorry, I should have made this clearer; the "router" is just a consumer adsl modem and doesn't support what I'm trying to do,
so it has to be set on the specific computer. _________________ "You have to invite me in" |
