Hi,
i'm trying to install a PhoneJack card into my desktop.
I have compiled the needed modules into the kernel ixj telephone modules and they are nicely loaded by udev. Only problem is the devices are not created in /dev/.
The card is working properly if i mknod /dev/phone0 c 100 0
What would be a good way to let udev create these devices. I need them before asterisk comes up.
Thx,

Hi! The Asterisk is working perfectly on my desktop system. But I have the same problem as you.
I'm working on it, but now I only see a hack with modifying standard devices package... In other distro we can add to /etc/udev/links.conf: " M phone0 c 100 0 " and it's working...
Did you find the solution for the phone device added by udev? _________________ " Making Linux freely available is the single best decision I've ever made. " LT |
