I am trying to install the compiz-extra package but the compile fails giving me this error

Which version of compiz are you using? The compiz-extra package in portage is only for 0.3.6. A package that works with compiz-0.5 is available from here. |

Well i was on the #compiz channel on freenode and they told me that it'd be better to install the git version of compiz and compcomm instead in this case. |
