I have Apache 2.2 and PHP 5 installed. Everything worked smoothly for months and I made no change to system. However, recently PHP just stopped working. I do have "* 6 * * * /usr/bin/emerge --sync" but emerge.log shows nothing out of the ordinary.
This is /etc/conf.d/apache2:
APACHE2_OPTS="-D DEFAULT_VHOST -D PHP5 -D USERDIR -D FCGID"
It has not been changed
php files aren't processed. I just get back the PHP code from Apache.

I fixed it by re-emerging PHP with mysql and apache2 USE flags set.. but why did it break to begin with? Is having "* 6 * * * /usr/bin/emerge --sync" in my crontab config causing this? |

Not related to your actual question, but are you sure the first asterisk in your crontab line is correct? Didn't you mean "0" or something? Because right now, it will start an emerge --sync every minute for an hour. _________________ Never stop using your brain. |
