Is anyone using ming with php. I can't get it to work. My browsers returning an 'unrecognised class SWF...etc' when I try to run a php script with ming calls in it. I'm not sure where to put the php_ming.so file, it's in /usr/lib/php and /usr/lib/apache-extramodules. I've added extension=php_ming.so to my php.ini file and still no good. Do I need to reconfigure php with --enabled with ming?
Any ideas? |

Peculiar, I emerged ming (0.2a) and can't even find the .so file! I assume (yeah ass u me , I know) that it will need to be added to the apache.conf with the other dso's. I could of course be barking up the proverbial. This makes two people in need of advice, any would be mucho appreciated. |

unfortunately i dont mess with php and never heard of ming. however, apache i do mess with daily. being that its a .so, im willing to bet (along with sams hunch) that its a dso. try a LoadModule directive on it and see how it goes...ya never know.
btw sam, if its been 24 hours since you've installed it you can try a locate libming.so (or whatever it calls itself), or run a updatedb then run locate. _________________ http://www.thezengarden.net
