Hello,
I've just enabled Xv interface on my mythbox.
using:
Section "Extensions"
Option "XVideo" "Enable"
EndSection
Section "Device"
.....
# === Video Overlay for the Xv extension ===
Option "VideoOverlay" "on"
EndSection
before I was using gl2 to watch film in full screen.
The fact is that mythtv force -vo Xv for livetv so i need Xv mode.
But when i try to watch a film with:
mplayer -vo xv ./film.avi
only the upper horizontal part of the film is shown... I loose 1/3 of the bottom image
the image displayed is the same display size as -vo gl2 but it is some sort of zoomed and only the top is seen...
Is this a known bug of ati drivers?
I forgot to mention that I'm using the tv out of my video card...
If it's a known bug..., is there a way to always force mplayer in -gl2 mode? if for example mythtv force -vo xv can I force it to -vo gl2 with a config file???
thx a lot!

Ok I close this post as it seems it's an ATI proprietary driver problem...
Xv support is buggy on TV.... |
