Is there a way to get ktorrent to use tor? I was just reading up on ktorrent and there seems to be a lot of vulnerabilities with this torrent program. |

KDE has a central proxy configuration via kcontrol. I haven't tested it but ktorrent should use this setting.
Another question is what problem you are trying to solve by using bittorrent via tor. Because it doesn't protect you against vulnerabilities in ktorrent, it just enhances your privacy because no one can trivially get your IP address while using tor, which doesn't mean they can't exploit vulnerabilities in the client program. If you don't need the privacy then you shouldn't use bittorrent over the tor network, because it will a) be slower and b) use valuable bandwidth needlessly. Bandwidth of the tor network is limited! _________________ Please add [SOLVED] to your message title if your problem is solved.
