I'm not sure what I recently upgraded, but I thought nothing. All of a sudden my system stops booting where init would normally appear to takeover. The system will actually boot up all the way and I can ssh into it, except the console output stops right where it says it mounted the root fs. Has anyone seen this before? I've tried upgrading a few things to fix this, such as init, etc, but cannot seem to get console display back. I'm running kernel 2.6.16.28-xen-r2.
Last line before hang:
VFS: Mounted root (reiserfs filesystem). |
