|
|
Hi there, I have a very small but irritating problem in both firfox and thunderbird.
In thunderbird, when i click on the link in an email for example, it doesnt open up thunderbird to view it, i have to cut and paste it in
In firefox, when i click on a link to something i've downloaded in my downloads windows, nothing happens
I was wondering if anyone has a solution for this as it would be a real help to save me opening things up manually
I've heard of people trying to change permissions of certain folders and so on but I wanted to know if there was a sure fire way of getting it to work ?
Thanks in advance |

I don't have the details, but google on it - for one (firefox I think) you can set it in about:config; for the other, you have to edit your user.prefs file. |
