I have problem emerging xkeyboard-config-0.8-r1. I have the following error message:

I tried to find where libXcomp.so.1 comes from:
Code: |
Fukuoka ~ # equery belongs libXcomp.so.1
[ Searching for file(s) libXcomp.so.1 in *... ]
net-misc/nxcomp-1.5.0-r1 (/usr/NX/lib/libXcomp.so.1 -> libXcomp.so.1.5.0)
Fukuoka ~ # emerge -s nxcomp
Searching...
[ Results for search key : nxcomp ]

Fukuoka ~ # emerge -s net-misc/nxcomp

Fukuoka ~ # emerge -s net-misc/nxcomp-1.5.0-r1

but couldn't find it. Where is now libXcomp.so.1? Can I avoid needing it?
Here is my emerge --info:
Code: |
Fukuoka portage # emerge --info

I once had FreeNX on but I removed it. It seems some left overs are still there. How can I get rid of them?
Thanks!

Have you done a
Code: | emerge -uD --newuse world |
or
lately? The former should be used if you make some fairly major tweaks to your use flags. The latter is a good idea when you swap out some major stuff like gcc or glibc versions. |
