for some reason when i go to play a song off my ipod with gtkpod it says cannot find the command 'xmms' specified for 'play now' is there a way to fix this? |

i use audacious i set it in the prefrences and when i go to open the music the media player opens but it doesnt play the music, its like i fix one problem just to reveal another one lol |

Adding the -e switch to that will enqueue a track. The %s tells gtkpod to send the selected file as the object of the audacious command.
The reason xmms doesn't work is that it is no longer in portage. It's a big can of worms, so if you want to know why or what to do about it, use the forum search function.
