[solved] MIDI over USB timing problems

I guess the most simple way is to write down the facts

• I have a Midisports 1x1 USB midi device connecting my Yamaha keyword with the PC
  
• 'timidity <midifile>' works
  
• Running MIDI players in Wine (I tested Guitarpro), importing MID-file, playing on the keyboard: Works
  
• When using aplaymidi or rosegarden the PC seems to have timing problems. The file is played 4x too fast. (BPM=30 gets played as if BPM=120)
  
• My CONFIG_HZ is 1000 (for audio recording). Rosegarden complains that the frequency is too low (250Hz)

Since 1000Hz/250Hz accords to the 120BPM/30BPM problem I suspect Alsa or the midisports driver to assume a wrong Hz value.

Any ideas?
