Is there any good howtos for setting up the mail account that receives mail from log checking software and similar software.
I have checked the /etc/mail/aliases file and it looks correct
when i run: mail
it says:
No mail for root
and if i run:
mail root
Subject: hello +ENTER
Hello There! +ENTER
CTRL+D
Cc: + ENTER
I get no error messages but i also got no mail.. ( have tried sending from another user on the server to root)
Anyone got any ideas?
Best regards
Mikael. |

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Networking & Security.
Not about getting gentoo installed, so moved here. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
