Hi i run linux from an external usb disk.
I have 2 partitions one is root and the other is a home partition:
root /dev/sda2 ext3
home /dev/sda3 ext3
Now i want to reduce my root partition and make my home partition bigger. I've tried running qtparted from knoppix but it always says the device is busy even if it's not mounted. Does anyone know how i can go about this without formatting partitions or reinstalling gentoo? Would Partition Magic under XP do the trick? _________________ The real world isn't what you thought it was going to be?
re-emerge it with gentoo linux! |

partition magic won't touch linux filesystems. your best bet might be the gparted livecd.
