|
|
Hi,
I want to get a new Pocket PC and I want Gentoo installed on it. (Since I love Emerge!)
And I prefer to have this with fluxbox but Ill think thats imposable
Anyhow, I want to know for sure that I can do this.
And that WiFi does work then. (And Kismet/Fluxbox/SuperTux/SynCE? ^^)
Ok, is there a way to Compile the Kernel on a PocketPC?
And witch one to buy to make sure that the hardware does work.. ??
Thanks already,

RobinV,
You don't compile anything on a PocketPC. They don't have the resources. You set up a cross compiler toolchain on your PC instead.
Read handhelds.org to learn about Linux on Pocket PCs. I have an iPaq 5550 that works reasonably well with familiar Linux. _________________ Regards,
