|
|
Hello,
I am using NetworkManager to connect to the internet (2 WiFi APs, 1 at home, 1 at work).
The one at home changes my hostname to "Vigor12" after connecting,
and after that, I can't start any programs in X.
I have to Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and $startx again... Then everything works fine.
What is the problem? How can I fix it, so that I don't have to restart Xorg whenever I connect at home?
Thanks for help.

Have you got a Vigor router by any chance? Maybe getting a hostname issued via DHCP?? /etc/conf.d/net.example will help you solve it. |
