Hi, I've got a problem with cable modem connected to PC via USB cable. I noticed that when this device is plugged for a long time (about 24h) w/o any break nodes informing about communication stops flashing (cable modem is thinking that PC is turned off). I really can't get any idea what it happens but when connecting via ethernet cable, everything is ok. Do you think that is device or kernel bug?
For getting any idea i including following messages ( using dmesg ) when this error occurs. Any help will be welcome.

In my own experience, such fails uses to be caused by hardware's electrical deficiencies, like bad cabling or static accumulation. USB modules are very stables but they maybe has hangs-out for such errors
