I'm building my kernel now (gaming-sources) and it's going step-by-step. After I hit 'n' for DRI support the screen came up with a little help screen. At the bottom it says (END) in highlighted text.
How do I proceed with my kernel creation after this.
The only reason I ask is that I lost my kernel by pressing the wrong button the last time I tried this. _________________ - BjH

What are you talking about here? Using menuconfig?

yes, I did the menuconfig.
But... when I go to make the kernel, I have to go back through and pick each module one-by-one.
It didn't use to do this, but I'm not too bothered by it, .... now I open up 2 terminals so I can read the help through menuconfig, and then type (y,n,m,?) for each question on the kernel.
The first time I wasn't able to make directly from the menuconfig, I made the mistake of pressing '?', which brought up the help for that kernel option. This lead me to a screen with the module help displayed in the console, and instead of having "compile kernel with xxx support (Y,n,m,?)" it had (END) highlighted at the bottom.
I pressed enter to get back to my kernel making process, but it just beeped at me. I pressed every button untill I found one that exited me out of the kernel make program completely.... (and this was at the end of the kernel, a bummer to say the least)
So, now I'm back to the screen with (END) highlighted, but not from pressing '?', and I want to know what key to press to get me back to making the kernel. _________________ - BjH

Are you sure you are using menuconfig? Sounds like the CLI config to me... menuconfig has a nice ncurses based setup... _________________ Life is like a box of chocolates... Before you know it, it's empty... |

This is weird. Sounds like your not saving your .config from menuconfig properly.
