I have an o2 atom exec pda (one of those windows moble thingies). I haven't found how to integrate it with Linux at the moment, but that doesn't worry me too much (at the moment.)
What does worry me is that, I use to be able to recharge the device by simply plugging it into a USB port. Since upgrading Linux it has stopped charging. It's as though the power is turned off to the usb port.
lsusb gives me:
Bus 004 Device 008: ID 0408:f003 Quanta Computer, Inc.
Any ideas?? ![Confused :?](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif)

Kernel is: linux-2.6.21-suspend2-r5
When I reboot into XP (I dual boot for work reasons) it recharges. I'll test it on a standalone powered hub tonight (Aussie Time). Knowing that it use to charge when gentoo was running makes me think that someone has changed the usb power configurations. |

That's it. The device is trying to suck 500mA down the line. Thanks for the info. I'll just need to get myself a powered hub for work! Thanks iamben.
