Yes! I am sick and tired of all the problems.
My (new) box:
Asus P5WDH Deluxe mobo
Intel Core2duo 2.4 GHz
Asus nvidia video card
4 GB Ram
2 x 250 GB Samsung sata disks
etc.
Emerging goes really fast compared to my old AMdD Athlon 1700+ box
but I've never had so many problems to get all the software I had on the old one
run on this one. Some I can't get to work at all.
So I downloaded the 2007 install cd and tomorrow I'll start a new install
but this time I'll make it 32 bits.
I might come back in a year or so when all the problems have been solved.

I don't have any problems with 64 bit, I think I have exactly the same motherboard as the OP - and even the IR works fine - I could control audacious and mplayer from the remote, the wlan works, the lan cards work and so on. _________________ "I knew when an angel whispered into my ear,
