Hello Everyone. I have some problem with my ADSL modem. I have a Speedtouch 330 USB mocem, but I don't know how to installl it on Gentoo 2007 AMD64. Please help me and give me some advice. Thank you and goodbye |

Have you already read this howto?
It describes setting up the speedtouch modem using the net-dialup/speedtouch-usb ebuild and includes all links you need. |

i have used this script and successfully made an internet connection with a few distros; includeing Gentoo, needs pppd. it should be also possible to use this script with the minimal install CD, but you'll have to obtain the stage 3 tar ball and a portage snapshot before u begin, the reason is that the script looks for gcc and make. it should work but i dont know Coz i havent tried it using minimal install CD Yet. |
