Hello,
all i did was:

modprobe acx |
and dmesg tells me now: | Quote: | | acx: firmware image 'tiacx100c11' was not provided. Check your hotplug scripts |
Looking for this message at google told me, i am not the only one who has an error like this, but i can not find a solution for it 
now i wonder further more why i did not have to copy my windows binary drivers for the wl-8305 wlan pci card to any directory like i had to do some years ago when i tried acx100 at slackware. strange, but the wiki does not say so, does it?!
all i can find now, is:
ls /lib/firmware
| Quote: | tiacx100 tiacx100usbc0D tiacx111c19
tiacx100r0D tiacx111 tiacx111r16
tiacx100r11 tiacx111c16 tiacx111r17
tiacx100r15 tiacx111c17 |
it really looks like the one file, that i need, is missing: tiacx100c11 :/
where to get it from?

try merging the acx-firmware package and then remerge the acx100 package. Finally do the modprobe again and see what happens!
