X can't find dri module

well ok so I may know less than I'd like to (obviously) about this but....

My X logs show that it cannot find the dri module on my laptop ... it has a trident video card which is supposedly supported.... [http://dri.sourceforge.net/doc/dri_driver_features.phtml]

But I cannot find the module, or where to build it?

Anybody in the know?

looks like my trident cyberblade is supported in cvs, no documentation and it's still in progress.

can't hurt to try it though.

I'll post back when I'm done for future referance.
