Hmmm, I felt like redecorating and tried 'entrance' instead of KDM as login manager. Nice. Except, when I log into KDE (3.1.2) with it, I can't do anything. I click on any icon (konsole, konq, whatever) and the whole desktop freezes up (note: not the system; only the desktop environment). If I alt+f2 and try running non-KDE apps, I still get the same result. Logging in from KDM and GDM works fine. Logging into fluxbox and gnome (from entrance) works fine too. Anybody else come across this?

I rather like entrance. It's faster than KDM and nicer (IMO). I hope I don't have to lose it. :(

how did u install it ?.. then i try to install it.. its maked.. and i cant find it under /usr/portage/profiles/package.mask.. what did u do ? :)

I've ran Gentoo unstable for the past year so I generally don't have to think about this. IIRC, stable users have to type the following at the command line immediately before merging:

ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86"

thx.. i have installed it now.. but i ran in to the same problem as u, but i run with kde 3.1.1a :/

Just put enlightenment-cvs onto my system and among others have this problem too, has anyone founf a bug yet?
