This board - amd 64 x2 - failed two times in 1 year - BIOS ROM checksum error. Had to replace the board, no solution found on the forums worked. Anybody had a similar problem ? Anything to do with gentoo ?

I have one in my desktop pc which runs gentoo. Haven't had it that long but have had no problems with it apart from a slight overheating problem on the northbridge but I have (temporarily) solved this by underclocking my cpu. I plan to buy a new heatsink for the chipset as soon as I can find one to fit in the gap between the graphics card and cpu socket.
