|
|
Hey folks,
I'm a fairly new gentoo user, who'd really like to move to using Linux as my only OS at work -- there's only one application that I have to use that's causing me issues, and that's Corel's WordPerfect. I've got a copy of WordPerfect 2000 for Linux, but it I'm having some problems installing it on my gentoo box. I get an error message saying that I need libc6, and I'm not really sure how to proceed from there. I'm also confused because I only see debs and rpms, and I'm not sure how to get gentoo to play nicely with those.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

You can emerge search RPM and install the rpm tools but I'm not sure if that will solve the libc issue |

tried it, still getting the error message
I'll keep plugging away, but if anyone's got ideas, please let me know.
