Before I start installing gentoo, I want to make sure that the internet will work for my computer. I use a HomeLink Phoneline 10M USB Network Adapter USB200HA to access my cable modem. What should I install to get this to work? Thanks in advance. |

last i checked the only phoneline adapters that worked in linux were the broadcom based PCI ones -- i got three of mine working quite well, unfortunately, two broke and i decided to go wireless. I'm not aware of any USB driver for your card, so you may be SOL with this one... unless someone is writing opensource drivers or somethin. :/
here's a link to the PCI driver page... i couldn't find anything about USB
