ciao,
ho installato il server seguendo la seguente guida:
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_CVS_Server
però quando cerco di fare il login ecco l'errore:
Logging in to :pserver:spai@localhost:2401/root
cvs [login aborted]: unrecognized auth response from localhost: cvs: unrecognized option `--allow-root=/root'
avete qualch idea di come risolvere il problema?

A meno che tu non abbia seri motivi per voler usare cvs ti consiglio di passare subito a svn.
