I'm using XFCE Desktop Enviroment for five days. I'd like to know is it possible to install Compiz or Beryl on it. I've tried to do this with gentoo wiki but it doesn't work. Only window manager disappears. Maybe you know different programs to make XFCE more attractive. |

are you using xfce's own compositor? it's nothing like compiz, but it does at least give you drop shadows and transparency, which makes things a little more attractive.
3d-desktop also works with xfce (an opengl virtual desktop switcher). |
