|
|
Hi, I have a subtitle problem.
I want to watch my favorite movies with Bulgarian subtitles, but when I open my video player ( for example "MPlayer" or "Kaffeine" ) there are no readable letters...
I've downloaded some Cyrillic font files from the Mplayer-homepage, but they are in raw-format. I can't find the tool to convert these fonts from raw in ttf format (TOOLS/subfont-c/ dir is present, but there is no program to compile / create ttf fonts ).
Does somebody know how to fix this? Thank for your help in advance. |

Try using the dejavu font, it has glyphs for a great many scripts. Then use SMPlayer or VLC. In both of those you can specify the character encoding of the subtitles. (Should be possible with mplayer as well, but I don't know how, read the extensive manpage...) _________________ "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." - Abraham Lincoln
