Hi I am new to Gentoo Linux. Have used (and still do) Red Hat Linux for the past 5 years or so. I was wandering if there is any utility to be run in X for user and group managment for Gentoo Linux. I ask this since I find annoying (not to say a little difficult) to set up users and groups in the console. Thanks!

kuser in kde alternatively, on the console you could always emerge superadduser which provides a nicer interface for adding users on the console.

i've never tried it myself, but you could give webmin a try. from what i hear its quite good. don't know though if it helps setting up users, but take a look, propably it does.
