|
|
Hi,
I had to copy my system to another hdd and didn't copy all folders so I needed to create them myself now. Unfortunately I forgot to write down the permissions so now I am not sure if everything is 100% correct. Could you please check and give me some feedback?
/tmp 777 root:root
/sys 755 root:root
/usr/src 755 root:root
/usr/portage 755 root:root
/var/tmp 777 root:root
/proc 555 root:root (I suppose this one was created automatically)
Thank You!

Did you set the sticky bit on /tmp and /var/tmp (chmod +t)? The rest look alright to me. _________________ Thomas S. Howard |

Everything seems to be working, so I suppose those settings (with sticky in tmp) are correct. |
