Emerald-theme-manager... Just how?

This probably sound a bit lame... my apologize.

I've installed beryl according to the wiki, and beryl-manager is running (red diamond in the right corner). But when I open the emerald theme manager, and select a theme, nothing happens. Nothing indicates anything... there's no "install" or "use this" or, like, anything.

In the Themes Settings window, there's a search field, followed by four buttons, and the lower right corner a quit-button... in the gui style of gnome... (I'm using kde-3.5.7)

Any thoughts

could it be that only the beryl-manager is running and you need to start the beryl window manager? right-click on the beryl-manager diamond icon in your sys tray and "select window manager" -> "Beryl".

ok... so I have to admit to being an idiot as the other guy did... :oops:

Now I select beryl as window manager... But, still it defaults back to iceWM.

Anyone care to comment on this?

Well, I've ended up with a not very nice iceWM taskbar. I can choose (when I start beryl-manager as a default user) between KWIN - Beryl - iceWM... No matter what I choose the choice default to iceWM.
