I just received some microSD 2GB memory card some kind "Patriot Memory"
I configured the kernel mounted the card via USB reader and it is showing only 2% used

Code:

/dev/sdc1 2.0G 25M 1.9G 2% /mnt/mo_stick

I tried to copy onto it about 435 small files about 35Mb total and it only copied about 25MB 256-files.
Was the card formated with some DOS limitations?

I can copy larges 640MB files onto it just fine.

I think this is a limitation of DOS root file system 256 files only. One solution is to create and use subdirectory and the limitation will be gone.
