I try to make a new Pinnacle PCTV 110i card working.
lspci -v gives me:
00:13.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7133/SAA7135 Video Broadcast Decoder (rev d0)
Subsystem: Pinnacle Systems Inc. PCTV 110i (saa7133)
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 18
Memory at c4000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=2K]
Capabilities: [40] Power Management version 2
dmesg looks good (except the tuner gets set twice) and card gets autodetected (card=77 and radio=54)
saa7130/34: v4l2 driver version 0.2.14 loaded
PCI: Enabling device 0000:00:13.0 (0004 -> 0006)

Different applications bring up a nice picture, but black and white.
Of course I tried to set all different TV norms (PAL is correct) in the different TV application but no success.
Finally I exchanged the card with an other saa7134 card plugged into an other computer running gentoo.
I got the same result. So it seems to be Pinnacle PCTV 110i and saa7134 driver related.
The card looks exactly as:

And I followed all the guides around.
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_saa7134
http://gentoo-wiki.com/Saa7134_quick_guide
http://www.linuxtv.org/v4lwiki/index.php/Pinnacle_PCTV_110i
The chip on the card is a SAA7131E. Phillips or now www.nxp.com does not publish a datasheet for this chip. In the Internet a preliminary SAA7131 datasheet can be found, but this does not seem to match the SAA7131E. The 7130,7133,7134 and 7135 have all the same datasheet at Phillips and probably differ just in some rather minor features. So I'm afraid that the SAA7131E does not fit into this series. However the differences can not be that big since it produces a nice black and white picture.
Does somebody has this card running under Linux with PAL TV standard
Any ideas Is the card too new
