So all of a sudden it seems mac on linux doesn't want to work anymore. I have it set to run on a separate console, and the grey window with the spinny-thingy at the bottom comes up, but then the video just disappears and I'm left with a blank, regular console. Mac on linux seems to still be running though, with this to say:

Code:
.:[ jeremy@ambelina ~ ]:. startmol -X

Try to make sure that your /etc/mol/molrc.osx is set to only the disks you want to use.

Ok, so I changed blkdev to read
Code:
/dev/hda3 -boot
and now I get just a blank console with mol saying this:
Code:
.:[ jeremy@ambelina ~ ]:. startmol -X
Mac-on-Linux 0.9.72 [Jun 26 2007 00:17]
Copyright (C) 1997-2004 Samuel Rydh

    1440* 960, depth 8,15,32   { 0.0 } Hz

Autoswitching to console
DHCP nameserver exported: 192.168.0.1
Ethernet Interface 'tun-<tun1>' @ 00:00:0D:EA:DB:EE

    ip/mask: 192.168.41.2/255.255.255.0  gw: 192.168.41.1
    broadcast: 192.168.41.255  nameserver: 192.168.41.1

ALSA sound driver (device 'default')

    Unembedded HFS+ /dev/hda3                       <read-only>  74871 MB BOOT

SCSI devices:

    <No SCSI Devices>

I must really be doing something wrong here...

Nope, sorry I missed it before but there's a subtle bug that occurs only when X is running and you create the fb_modes file. Edit /var/lib/mol/fb_modes (I know it says not to edit by hand...) and change the 5888 to 5760. It should work after that.
