C'est tout bête mais ca m'épate! J'ai installé pidgin, le remplacant de gaim, mais je n'arrive pas à le lancer!!
Que je tape #pidgin ou que je le cherche dans un /usr/bin ou autre, rien!!
Pourtant l'installation c'est passé correctement, aucun message d'erreur...
net-im/pidgin-2.0.1 USE="crypt msn ncurses nls perl ssl -avahi -bonjour -cjk -dbus -debug -doc -eds -gadu -gnutls -groupwise -gstreamer -gtk -meanwhile -networkmanager -prediction -qq -sasl -silc -spell -startup-notification -tcl -tk -xscreensaver -zephyr"

comment ça, rien quand tu tapes pidgin ? la commande n'est pas trouvée ou bien il ne se lance pas ?
Au passage, que fait ton # devant la commande ?
Ici, le fichier est dans /usr/bin/pidgin
es tu certain que l'installation s'est passée sans problème ? |

Le # était une erreur, et il n'a pas de /usr/bin/pidgin, la commande "pidgin" est inconnue.
Je viens de le réinstallé et il n'y a vraiment aucun message d'erreur, comme si tout c'était bien passé... |

en -gtk je vois pas trop comment ça a put bien marcher  vu que je pense pas que il fonctionne en autre chose 
chez moi il marche parfaitement :

En effet c'était bien à cause du USE="-gtk" que ca marchait pas!! Bizarre qu'il le mette en use si il est obligatoire...

| Pidgin possède une interface en mode texte, donc l'interface gtk est facultative |
