ATI X1600 drivers installed...errors ?

I emerged ati-drivers, got to X, loaded the KDE, found the ATI Catalyst Control Center.
But when I killed the process (dropped to console)... I saw the following errors:

fglrx: no matching Device section for instance (BUSID PCI:1:0:1) found.
Fatal: Module fglrx not found
[drm] failed to load kernel module "fglrx"...

What's wrong? How to solve this?
